Take a Step Into Organic Life Project is aimed to reach youths from many different countries with different backgrounds, to increase awareness about nature protection, and increase their skills to adopt a nature-friendly lifestyle. The project is developed with these objectives: to popularize the concepts of organic agriculture and nutrition; to increase the sensitivity to nature in youth and adults; to equip young people with new skills to lead a more environmentally friendly life; and to increase the international cooperation of institutions working on the protection of the ecosystem.
About the organisers
The Beykoz Municipality is part of the greater Istanbul area. It supports young and disadvantaged immigrants who came from Eastern Turkey by organizing social, cultural and vocational training projects. It also helps young job seekers to find a proper job related to their qualifications and runs computer classes for disabled people. Apart form this, it is also Eurodesk Contact Points. So we can reach young people easily and develop youth projects.
