is a non-profit organization based in the South of Peloponnese in Greece in a beautiful agroforestry farm. Our mission is to spread knowledge, techniques and the mindset for regenerative practices in all domains of human activity. Through workshops, networking and building active and alive examples of regenerative practices in close collaboration with other organizations, public entities and ecological enterprises.
pilot farms, farmer's networks and an educational video library
With this program, we set ourself the goal to enable and support the transition of farming in Greece into a regenerative one, by sharing the knowledge about agroforestry, its possibilities for restoring soil, plant and animal health, thus regenerating our ecosystems and building resilience facing climate change.
As the network evolves into hosting regional hubs, its goal is to unite and support people in Greece and beyond, who are actively contributing to a change toward regenerative practices in their local contexts. Trust is built through regular in-person meetings, at the same time that connections are strengthened, needs are identified and matched, and resources are exchanged.
Ensuring plants survive is the most demanding part of planting forests. There needs to be engaged actors in the follow-up and adequate resources.
To tackle that challenge we engage with diverse local agents and directly support them to transform their fields into agroforestry plots. Embedded in different climatic conditions, these offer us great insights into the regions challenges and opportunities for agroforestry.
UPCOMING EVENTS
2024 | Upcoming opportunities and projects to go learn abroad
There are many opportunities to learn through Erasmus+ courses in places like ours, abroad.
We are happy to support people that live in Greece to travel and participate in these programs. Check them out and see how you can apply.
This 13-day training activity, hosted in our welcoming food forest in the South Peloponnese, aimed to further our transition towards circular economies, and low-carbon societies, territories and economies.
Guided by internationally recognized trainers, Alexandros Filippidis, and Laurane Coornaert, 37 youth workers from 7 different countries broadened their knowledge, skills and attitudes to approaches and practical tools to redesign and shape the energy systems of their organizations’ headquarters, workspaces, and communities.
A third place, neither home nor work is somewhere in between both concepts. Rooted on community-based values, cooperation, diversity and integration, they aim to support and activate the local context toward regenerative livelihoods. This meetup's aim was to foster collaboration and strengthening the network among eco projects of North Greece.
On Sunday there was a closed meeting for members of the network to focus on weaving and sharing challenges and opportunities. During the remaining timeslots, anyone can pass by and discover the benefits of third place initiatives across the landscapes. You can ask where to find us at the info booth of the festival
This 13-day training activity, hosted in our welcoming food forest in the South Peloponnese, tackles in depth the topics of systemic thinking, tools for impact and bioregional weaving. Guided by 3 skilled trainers, Chan Sac Balam, Leon Seefeld and Igor Louboff, 35 youth workers from 7 different countries will broaden their knowledge, skills and attitudes in terms of inclusive approaches and practical tools to design regenerative systems at all scales - from home and garden to community, farms and bioregions around the world.

From Monoculture to a regenerative farm
The transformation - an explanatory video from Critical Concrete
Samuel Kalika from Critical Concrete in Portugal with whom we work together on many different topics, crosspollinating knowledge and transferring it from natural building to agroforestry, came to see us in Greece during our tour, to share with his audience, how it looks in practice if you convert a monoculture into a regenerative farm.
The Food Forest Tour is a series of events in community places and organizations all over Greece that share our mission. In this events, we share knowledge on how to grow food in abundance and in harmony with nature, mimicking a natural forest system, and in which we actually plant a food forest in the hosting organization.
A unity project
Also the tour has as a mission to unify with people and projects from all over Greece and abroad. To strengthen the network of people and projects that actively contribute to building a better today and tomorrow, that are not afraid to seek new ways and have a bold vision for the future and that put their words to action!
To eco-projects, community spaces, to the city, kindergardens, schools, islands, villages
A food forest is a complex system with high biodiversity, comprised of trees and plants that provide food - fruits, nuts, edible leaves, flowers, roots.
But it does not only provide food. Being a forest on a small scale, it gives the opportunity for people, of all ages, to reconnect with nature, to learn how their food grows, to have a piece of paradise in their backyard, their school, their neighborhood, in the citiy’s main square, their workplace.
A forest is the perfect example for diversity and harmony, collaboration and interdependence.
We as humanity can learn a great deal from interacting and observing a forest.
That's why our mission is to bring them everywhere.
We run an agroforestry demonstration site, modeling dozens of practical, personal and community-scale solutions to common challenges around the regeneration of soil, water, food production, and more effective ways to self-govern and manage the economy, using permaculture as our guiding design approach.
By organizing learning experiences for people from the local area and abroad. Through workshops, European youth mobility projects, volunteering, on-site practical application and communication we create hubs for people to share and discover ways of deepening their understanding of regenerative living.
By co-initiating the REGEN network: a collaboration platform to coalesce eco-projects around Greece and abroad. Our organization has launched interactions, online and in-person, aiming to render visible, connect and support different people and groups involved in guiding their own communities to an ecologically regenerative, economically viable & socially just future.
About regenerative practices and non-regenerative ones, by online and offline communication. We write articles, create social media content and give talks, interviews and presentations in events, and festivals with the aim of informing people about the enormous potential that agriculture has to hurt and to heal our natural and social systems.
A small piece of paradise.
Near the ocean.
A journey
begins.
About loaded particles.
People.
Coming together
with the will
to change
everything.
This is our journey.
Have you seen what happens in the Sky, when loaded particles created by the earth and the sun collide?
A miraculous light spectacle appears up in the sky near the poles of the earth.
Dancing lights. To the music of the universe.
This spectacle can not be seen from where we are. But it’s what happens when humans likewise loaded, with passion and curiosity, come together.
The miracle begins.

Let us come together. Let us listen to each other. Learn from each other. Inspire each other. Empower each other. Let's create together. Resilient networks. Self-reliant networks. Self-sufficient. Let us create places of abundance. Forests of fruits and food for thoughts. And let us amaze each other. Create lights that shine far beyond the sky. Let us love each other. Ourselves. Without conditions.
Let us find peace and let us listen inside us. Come to us. And see, it was there all along.
The beauty and the strength.
To change everything.
bright shining lights all over the world
THE REGEN NETWORK
It´s time to unite
To unite and support people in Greece and beyond that are actively contributing to a change towards regenerative practices, we co-initiated the REGEN Network Greece together with Mazi farm.
Through regular meetings, we build trust among each other which we believe is the foundation of all successful collaboration.
