Natasa says it with her own words best, so we share her post that she did 6 months after the PDC Erasmus+ course:
“In the fall of 2019, I had the opportunity through the # Erasmus + program to participate in a Permaculture Design Course seminar organized by the #Southernlights organization. The experience was exceptional, the space was healing, the teacher unforgettable (@Giuseppe Sannicandro). People from Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Finland and Greece made the seminar take a different turn. In addition to the seminar, this turned into a bright moment in the history of all of us. One highlighted the other’s brightest features.
After this seminar participants’ development was very significant, one participant went to the Amazon, a girl teaches permaculture to children, two people traveled to farms across the Middle East, a girl returned to her country Brazil after years, I started working as an environmentalist myself.
A few months later, I am very pleased to see that our friends in the Southern Lights have set their sights on a new seminar. It was approved and achieved the first place in the ranking. This news is great and I would like to send my deepest congratulations to the whole team. I am sure that the organization of the seminar will be excellent once again and the participants will live a unique experience!”
Natasa is now working with Agroecopolis, an environmental organisation in the North of Greece, and supporting the implementation of more food forests in public spaces, where knowledge on permaculture, soil and food sovereignty will be shared with many locals and visitors. This is a huge multiplier effect. We couldn´t be more happy about this development.
