During this weekend we will explore natural building techniques, while building a tiny house for hosting our community, volunteers and visitors. This building will greatly improve and contribute to the infrastructure of our project base in South Peloponnese, Skala.
Join us for two days, be part of the building process, get to know the crew of Free and Real and learn from their many years of experience and experiments with naturalbuilding techniques and tiny houses.
Aim
Use 2 different eco-building techniques. Build 2 tiny cob houses: the hexagonal yurt and the quadratic yurt. Observe multiple geometrical building approaches.
Impact:
38 people inspired, 4 walls filled with straw, 2 locals discovered our project and 3 eco-project united.
Reinforcing knowledge, skills and inspiration on eco-buildings infrastructure, aspects of bioclimatic architecture and management of diverse natural building materials.
Points of Support
One of the buildings we worked on was an action implemented within the framework of Points of Support, a joint initiative by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, the TIMA Charitable Foundation, the Hellenic Hope charity organisation, the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation, the A. G. Leventis Foundation, the A. C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation, the Costas M. Lemos Foundation, and the Bodossaki Foundation.
