Erasmus+ Youth Exchange

Location: Mugla, Turkey

Environmental problems are not only a problem that can be solved by technology or laws. These problems can be corrected by changing behavior. Changing attitudes, on the other hand, necessitates changing knowledge and value judgments. To change how we live, we must first change how we think. Thinking habits can be created through education and training.
This project activities will continue with the basic principles that form permaculture and the practices created regarding theseprinciples. Participants will acquire practical information on protecting the environment, while translating this practical information into practice. Along with the activities, it is aimed to create an understanding that “I can be an environmentalist” in the participants. In this context, it is aimed to acquire practices and habits that can be applied especially in city life, which are not expensive but that will contribute more to nature.

This project is planned to be held in Muğla, Fethiye between 2-10 October. The project will be realized with 28 participants from Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Croatia, Spain and 7 group leaders.

About the venue

Our project venue is called “Fethiye”. Fethiye is one of the best tourist places in Türkiye.
Fethiye is famous with:
-The best paragliding point in the world,
-Butterfly valley,
-Blue Lagoon,
-Ancient cities,
-Beautiful mediterranean seaboat tours,
-Licia way,
-Lovely resorts,

For who this is

We need 5 participants in each group. 4 participants must be between 15-24 years old and no age limit for the group leaders. Each team should have 2 participants with disadvantages. These disadvantages and needs have been identified as the need to be in touch with nature, the need to travel and explore, educational difficulties and social barriers - cultural minority. It will be noted that at least half of the participants to be selected in each group are young people who have not previously benefited from the Erasmus+ program.
