Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers

Dates: 3 - 15 September 2024

The aim of this 11 day project is to idevelop participants' capacity building in the fields of agroforestry, permaculture, regenerative hydrology, collective intelligence and shared governance. An immersive experience into the eco-site is offered. Participants will be guided into both theoretical and hands-on sessions as described in the preliminary program announced in the info pack linked below.

About the organisers

The ZESTE for "Zone d'Expérimentation Sociale Terrestre et Enchantée" (Terrestrial and Enchanted Social Experimentation Zone) was created on December the 3rd, 2021. This cooperative company allows us to carry the diversity of our activities, including the "School of the Living"’s workshops, accommodation, seminars, catering and agricultural activities, under a single structure!
The "School of the Living" / ZESTE aims to offer different types of workshops in the field of artistic, political and ecological practices. Agricultural activities are being developed on a 50ha piece of land through horse breeding and market gardening in agroforestry and edible forest according to the principles of regenerative agriculture. The catering activity links agriculture to the "School of the Living" since all the vegetables and fruits that we grow feed the trainees during the workshops.

About the venue

All of the project's teaching sessions and workshops will take place at «L’Ecole des Vivants » (School of the Living), a community living space located in the french Alpes de Haute Provence, on a 50 hectares domain at an altitude of 1300 meters. Our eco-site is based on agricultural activities and hosting seminars and training programs in the field of the arts, politics and ecology.
This workshop will take place in le Domaine des Rayes. The building is composed of 5 bigs gites and 4 guest rooms. We have a total of 50 beds. Every body will have is own bed but some of the participant would have to share a room with 2 comfortable separate beds.

For who this is

This training is dedicated to social workers, youth workers, trainers, educators, NGO leaders and professionals who carry out a sustainable or social project. It will gather 5 participants from each partnering country, including Greece.

Contribution

We ask for a contribution of 40€ to support the resources allocated for sending participants.
